Who I help:
I support people who are navigating hormonal shifts, mental health challenges, trauma, grief, insomnia, stress, burnout, digestive issues, and anyone who’s ever been told “it’s just in your head”. I see you!
I work with folks through life transitions, caregivers, support workers, neurodivergent individuals, and members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Whether you’re dealing with hormonal imbalance, chronic fatigue, anxiety, or gut-brain wellness, I’m here to help you reconnect with your body and your healing story!
How I help:
I’ll meet you where you’re at on any given day, whether you’re feeling great or barely holding it together! Your acupuncture sessions are a space to breathe, reset, and reconnect. They aren’t limited to one concern; we look at the whole picture of your health, because everything is connected (the song said so, too!).
I encourage my clients to bring up any questions or changes you notice, even if they seem small or unrelated. Every piece helps me understand your body’s patterns and provide a treatment that supports your physical, emotional, and energetic wellbeing.
During our treatments, I’ll explain what’s going on/ what to expect every step of the way with your consent and safety in mind. Your personal comfort is a priority; you’re always welcome to make requests to pause, stop, or adjust at any time. This is your time to rest, reset, and restore balance – safely, gently, and without judgment.
Stuff I never shut-up about:
- The connection between trauma and how it manifests in the body
- Misconceptions and hacks surrounding hormonal health
- Advocating for yourself and honoring your body
- The benefits of acupuncture and its intricacies
- And cats!!
Outside of the clinic:
Cooking and baking, yoga, flower pressing, collecting vintage toys (esp. Troll Dolls and Barbies!), travelling in Asia, board games and tending to my plants.
Proof I don't just Google stuff (aka credentials):
- Affirming Ways People Self-Identify (2SLGBTQIA+)
- Trauma/PTSD & Recovery in the Context of Chinese Medicine
- Chinese Dietary Therapy
- I Ching Pulse Diagnosis
- Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture
